Big Ray

Big Ray formed after Ed split "Sink" up. Read the History for the gory details.

Naked turned out to be an acoustic Punk record two years before everyone else started making Unplugged records and so no-one had a clue what to make of it. Released on City Slang (Hole, Flaming Lips) and on the same press label as Nirvana, it could have been huge. City Slang split from it's parent company and we fell between the gaps.

Next we recorded You Get What you Deserve a Brit Pop Album two years to early. The record label downsized and dropped us to concentrate on their other bands. (They had three bands and afterwards had two!) The Album was finally released 8 years later and is pretty special.

The Third Album "Business Class" was more of a solo effort by Ed drawing on a wealth of musicians. I played Bass on about half the tracks but didn't vote on which songs would be on the Album, as a result most of mine seem to appear as hidden tracks at the end of the record. I did produce one of my favourite bass lines in "Funny Bloke" and added the end part much to everyone's dismay.
