After college I spent some years as a professional musician. Well as professional as you can be with out making any money.
People often ask me what I play in the band, well this is what's I've recorded playing on
our CD's demonstrating my ability (which was sometimes pretty poor)
Ping Pong Ball, Bass Guitar, Harmonica, Wah-Wah Guitar, Acoustic Guitar,
Cello, Electric Guitar, 5-Tone Twirly Pipe, Double Bass, Keyboard,
Piano, Percussion, Kitchen, Feedback Guitar and I even got to sing!
K-Line
Last engagement. Playing and recording some of the best stuff I've
done (well 20 years of practice had to pay off eventually) Firmly rooted
in the traditions of mid 80's US hardcore with punk/pop overtones. The plan was to play local shows, record an album, tour
Japan and split up. All we managed was a track in a movie, an in store TV ad, two singles and a kick ass Album.
We played some great gigs but never got to Japan and split up after a year of losing direction

Sink
First real tour of duty. Active from 1987/88 until the final European
tour in 1991. Ed left the Stupids and took me with him (I was a Stupids
roadie and fan). Released 3 Albums, 3 John Peel sessions, recorded loads
of stuff and extensively toured Europe including pre-solidarity Poland.
Hopefully we'll be releasing a collection of stuff sometime, just what the
world needs!

Big Ray
Second tour of duty. Sink became Big Ray after recording "Naked" an
Unplugged Punk record two years before everyone else was doing it and so
no-one had a clue what to make of it. Released on City Slang (Hole,
Flaming Lips, Urge Overkill) and on the same press label as Nirvana, I was destined to
be huge except it wasn't :-( We then recorded a Brit Pop Album two years
to early and no-one would release it. Hmmm the music business sucks ;-)
Ed recorded a third album "Business Class" on which I played some tracks along with our many friends.
Twelve years young this December....and there's talk of a fourth album!

The Outer Limits
Formed at school it clearly demonstrated that lack of talent really is
no reason not play in a band.
Rated R
Some pretty intense noise which unfortunately never really made it out
of the rehearsal studio.
Chocolate
Joining Ed in one of the many line-up's of Chocolate. I definitely
remembering recording an album, which I'm sure will get released
eventually. How much more can people take!
Clarkesville
A great little 60's outfit. Well they were after I kicked them into
shape.
Iodine
I decided to record an Album on my own to see if I could write,
produce and perform a record. Well I like it.
Wild Chicken Willie
Okay this is what you've been waiting for my going solo and playing
